Community Paramedicine Program

We all need a little extra help from time to time, and Buckeye’s Fire-Medical-Rescue Department (BFMRD) is here for you if you ever need it. As a resident of Buckeye, once you are discharged from the hospital or currently suffer from a chronic illness, BFMRD will make home visits free of charge. These visits ensure that you:

Understand your medical discharge instructions and paperwork

• Obtain new and refill prescriptions and explain when and how to take them
• Have a safe home environment that’s clear of obstructions and tripping hazards
• And much more!

The Community Paramedicine Program has received numerous awards from the Maricopa Association of Governments, the Buckeye Chamber of Commerce and Abrazo Community Health Network.  Watch the video below to learn more.
