1/7/20: Yang Gang exploiting workers on Amazon Turk
The Yang Gang offered a survey for 30/cents and then screened me and many others out. NO PAY for us! NONE! It THAT what to expect if Andrew Yang becomes president? MORE of the SAME EXPLOITATION?

I was so shocked when I realized that the Yang Gang operates just like Amazon, Google, you name a scummy corporations, that's how they exploit the people.

So I posted on Reddit:

I just saw a Yang Gang HIT on Amazon's infamous MTurk site. I couldn't do the work because I was screened out, like many others.

For those of you who don't know how Amazon and the tech sector are exploiting the most vulnerable, please read this article:

I know that the article is accurate because I am one of those workers.

SHAME on Andrew Yang!

Not one person supported my efforts to STOP the exploitation.  

The "best" comments to expose the real agenda, the lies and deception that are clearly not limited to Trump and his campaign are by thebiscuitbaker - a very active and evil Yang supporter:

OP's mad because websites that host surveys, like Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc allow the surveyors to screen people out who are not qualified for the survey (based on responses to a couple intro questions). OP was screened out after a couple questions and is angry that he wasn't paid anyway. The survey was posted onto Mturk for that site's users to take, and so he blames Andrew Yang's campaign, despite having no proof that this experience connects with Yang whatsoever. Frankly, it has nothing to do with Amazon Mturk, either. Just seems like a disgruntled "worker" situation..Trying to drag big names into their "problem" for attention.

And:

Nah, you being a worker on there means nothing, in terms of how much you really understand. I'm also familiar with Mturk enough to know that surveys/screeners/polls etc are put onto the site by LITERALLY ANYONE. Also, you being screened out IS A GOOD THING. That means you were not eligible to do the survey. You should not get paid for things you don't deserve to be paid for. Honestly, it sounds like you are violating Amazon Mturk's TOS, and trying to do things that you weren't qualified for.

Go ahead share links, screenshots, etc. You won't because you're making stuff up.

Shame on you.

To clarify, your issue has nothing to do with Andrew Yang's campaign, and you getting screened out was the right thing to happen. You weren't exploited. You were trying to exploit survey "work" on Mturk.

You really can't be more evil than stating that workers getting NO PAY is the "the right thing to happen."

Meet your "Google / Amazon" type 33rd degree asshole!

That this person is allowed to actively OPPOSE my efforts to get fair pay to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged shows me a lot more about this campaign.

I still wonder whether Andrew Yang is really just a great actor and I got so fooled.   Maybe it's my Alzheimers. 

I thought Andrew is sincere about social justice, equal rights, human capitalism ...

I guess not.

As I just posted on Reddit, there IS a way for Andrew Yang to make things right.

1) Send 10 cents for the screening and a BONUS to every worker who got screened out, of course along with an apology, briefly explaining that Andrew Yany does NOT condone the exploitation of the workers and a link to his POLICIES, NOT to a donation link.  Preferably after they fix the website so it works in Firefox.

2) The "requesters" (companies who offer work on Mturk) can see how much the workers average per hour for each job they post.  If it's LESS than $15 hr, send everybody the DIFFERENCE between the average pay and the $15.  Again, along with an apology and the commitment to FAIR treatment of the workers.

3) A PUBLIC statement, explaining how this happened (I'd sure like to know!) and assuring us that this it was NOT Andrew's intention to exploit workers and that he will strive to prevent such exploitation in the future.  ADD it to the website policies. 

WALK YOUR FUCKING TALK, ANDREW YANG!

THIS is what it's all about.

The fight for social justice and fair pay MUST be a priority for Andrew Yang and he MUST lead by example!
