As I might have early onset Alzheimers, I was wondering if I completely lost it. But, it's not me -- it's THEM -- whoever the campaign web people are. HORRIBLE site design and eventually I figured out that the site just doesn't work with Firefox. The scroll bar is missing.
So I posted at the YangGang Reddit forum "7 days ago" as per Reddit:
I was just going to post a link to the policies and found several problems:
1) I had to WEB SEARCH to find the policies -- AFTER I went to https://www.yang2020.com/
There's a link to SHOP, but NOT to the policies!
2) After startpage found the policies, again I found NO MENU!!!
Finally, very frustrated, I located the 3 little lines on the top left.
3) Only to find that the LINK DOES NOT WORK!
So to "you", the people in charge of Andrew's campaign:
I spent HOURS reading the policies a few months ago and while I am a HUGE Warren fan, I've been writing about Andrew a lot more.
BUT, while I think that Andrew as a person really cares about everyone, the campaign shows me that you don't give a shit about old and sick people and you're not nearly as smart as you think.
And you're LAZY!
DON'T use a MOBILE theme for computers!
Seriously, how can you be THAT lazy?
You have buttons for Spanish and the Freedom Dividend, but not for the policies.
If you want to leave that stupid mobil menu button, fine, but ADD the policies. Have a listing of EACH PAGE on the front page for the policies.
Get rid of those STUPID landing pages.
NOBODY NEEDS A LANDING PAGE!
I'm really angry right now.
This is SO incredibly important. Not because I believe for one second that Andrew will be president this time around, but the ISSUES need to be discussed as long as possible.
Andrew can be a HUGE influence on stopping or at least slowing down the genocide, whether he's president or not.
It's a crime against humanity to hide his policies!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Reddit Yang Gang could not possible have cared less. One person made a few comments, but obviously didn't get it.
WTF is wrong with everybody?
I'm the one with Alzheimers or whatever.
More from last week's posts:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I first read Andrew's policies, I was so excited!
https://www.facebook.com/groups/mohaveaction/permalink/2389903524622899/
(While a public group, NOBODY in Mohave County is interested in any kind of bipartisan action and I use it mostly for draft posts)
I haven't had time to follow politics much, but watched the last debate and occasionally posted a link for Andrew.
The other day someone on FB at the NCLC page posted a plug for Bernie. I like Bernie, but I've never seen the kind of info Andrew Yang had on his campaign site. Although I must admit that I didn't actually explore any of the other candidates' sites.
Off I went to get the link to Andrew's policies and I could not find them!
And I started to think about his campaign website, clearly designed by imbeciles with nothing but DISRESPECT for most people.
Whoever designed the Yang website has NO compassion, NO empathy and extremely effectively MINIMIZES support.
Sabotage?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When nobody at Reddit YangGang could have cared less, I contacted the campaign through email in response to one of their countless fundraising emails with a link to the Reddit topic. I actually got a response, but again, I was belittled, ignored ... it's all so offensive, depressing, frustrating ...
Next, I decided to take a screencast and to tweet to the Yang campaign. But when I started to get the year end fundraising emails, I didn't want to "cause problems" at this critical time. Now that they by far exceeded even their stretch goal, well, it's now or never.
Here's the 12/29/19 screencast of this HORRIBLE website with NO WAY to get to the policies using Firefox.
I confirmed this eve (1/3/2020) that NOTHING got fixed:
If they're too stupid to get it now, I'll give up. Go back to supporting Elizabeth Warren. Or maybe nobody, focus on my health.
It's now 1:15 am on 1/3/2020. I went to Twitter and found a link to MESSAGE Andrew Yang. So I decided to try messaging before tweeting to the world how the Yang campaign not only is NOT capable of running a website that works on Firefox, but also to address the issue of their CONTEMPT for the old, the seniors, the people with brain problems like me.
And that's quite astounding, considering that Andrew Yang has an autistic son.
You'd think he'd be a LEADER with a website designed for ALL.
It's NOT smart to offend the people who are most likely to vote for you. The people who would really benefit from better healthcare and the Freedom Dividend.
So I'll wait a day before tweeting, maybe a miracle happens and someone with half a brain will read my Twitter messages to Andrew Yang. Of course I know that most likely some dweeb like the good-for-nothing webmaster is monitoring those messages. I'm not hopeful that anything will get done.
My Twitter messages were ignored too. Just checked the website, nothing's been fixed.
How can Andrew Yang run the country when he can't even run a functioning website while having MILLIONS of dollars.
You can't make this shit up ...
So today they wrote:
If we have the resources to respond with the truth, then there is nothing that can stop our momentum.
They want MORE money.
Why is Andrew Yang assuming that he has no supporters with the brains to talk ISSUES?
Folks who ignored us and who never talked about our campaign have, in the past 48 hours, become policy experts on every single one of Andrew’s 150+ policies.
Wow. How impressive! 150+ policies!
So why the fuck isn't he making them available?
If this was MY campaign, EVERY fundraising email would be about one of those policies.
I would ask my supporters NOT for money, but to tell all their friends to focus on the ISSUES.
I would discuss in the fundraising emails differences or the complete absence of these issues on the other candidates' sites and urge everyone to demand statements on the issues from "their" candidate.
And yes, there would be a donation link:
"If you support this policy and the discussion of the issues, please donate! And don't forget to check out our other 149 policies at ....."
And:
"If you don't support "this policy", please let us know why."
Dennis Kucinich was the last presidential candidate I'm aware of who actually had a forum where people could ask questions. With a highly organized website, it would be easy to get people links to the policies and to have an FAQ for every policy with answers to common questions.
Yes, it takes expert moderators to deal with serious questions and to weed out the trolls. But it's 2020 and I can't believe how amateurish this campaign is run -- by a TECHIE with many MILLIONS of dollars!
I was quite impressed with Andrew's interview with the undecided voters, especially when Andrew explained why EVERYBODY should get the Freedom Dividend.
It is critical that the people who pay for the Freedom Dividend get their share like everybody else -- no matter how rich.
We need to stop the divisiveness -- while also reducing the exploitation of the poorest.
There should be a special section explaining those kinds of objections. Maybe put a number on administrative cost savings, we don't need another bureaucracy to qualify recipients and it would eliminate most food stamps administration. It's so much easier to just put it all in writing and then voters have their answers.
Ranked voting is THE way to go.
ALL candidates ought to chime in.
ALL candidates ought to have WRITTEN POLICY STATEMENTS for future reference. Talk is cheap. I understand that sometimes reality gets in the way of campaign promises, but at least we deserve an explanation when things don't go as planned.
ACCOUNTABILITY!
I'd like to see a comprehensive listing of those 150+ policies along with the other candidates positions.
Obama so LIED to us in his campaign, promising GMO labeling. And then he sold us out to the bio tech industry in his LAST year, with NO reason to NOT veto the DARK Act and bring attention to this important part of The Genocide. I'm so tired of thuggy lying politicians, selling us out for WHAT? What did Obama get?
Where does Andrew Yang stand on GMOs killing not just people, but the planet?
Here is today's email with my reply:
"For the umpteenth time, FIX your website!!!"
And ANOTHER fundraising email. I replied:
How is Andrew Yang going to run the country when he can't even run a functional campaign website?
> NOW: All eyes are on us. Campaigns and the media are watching to see if we take off -- or if we slow down.
Yup, all eyes are on you and you have the most awful website imaginable. As money hungry as the Trumps.
You apparently have NO idea what a turn off your website is, even when you use a browser that actually displays the scroll bar so you can eventually find the policies.
APPALLING!
As I was reading the email, I began to wonder whether they are drunk on money.
Yang Gang --
First: We told you if we beat expectations and raised a record amount, the media would take notice.
Then: We set records and saw headlines like this one in Buzzfeed: “Andrew Yang Could Win This Thing.”
NOW: All eyes are on us. Campaigns and the media are watching to see if we take off -- or if we slow down.
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Every email would discuss a policy relevant to recent events, with a SHARABLE link to Make Americans Think Harder.
Instead of being LEADERS and focusing on ISSUES, the Yang campaign is sucking the blood / money out of the supporters like vampires.
There would be emails to alert supporters to updates and revisions and of course there would be footnotes explaining the changes. Dare to be transparent and honest, dare to change your mind, be somebody other than an offensive marketer.
Still NOTHING.
Tried to post a link to the Freedom Dividend and as I was once again resorting to Chrome to try to get there, I noticed that little button in the lower left again, clicked, and WOW, saw a link to submit problems.
WTF happened to putting a webmaster link on the bottom of the page? I don't think I've complained about that yet.
It took me so long to take the screenshots etc., I don't have the slightest clue where I wanted to post that link. It was FB, had to do with Trump trying to kick people off disability. Oh well ...
I do like this Userway thingy, but, since *** I *** didn't see it and after all this time nobody in the Yang Gang told me, I don't think anybody knows about this but "professional" disabled people.
Of course there should be those little symbols on the TOP of the page with text (the policies) to make the text larger. That's a no-brainer.
The webmaster will argue that it's our own fucking fault that we don't know or even see that little button in the lower left corner.
I see some good intentions, yet utter incompetence.
Yang2020.com really shows their DISRESPECT for people with disabilities.
Seniors and disabled should be Andrew Yang's PRIORITY -- on the TOP of the page. It takes a lot of nerve to run as the candidate who cares about the people and then so blatantly display that he doesn't give a shit about people with disabilities.
They don't have a clue what it's like to be old and disabled. At minimum, that button needs to be ON TOP and it needs a word or two with it to explain what it is.
My "report" of the "shitty website" went to Userway, not the Yang campaign.
I could cry.
I just looked at this poll from last year and they didn't even reach out to Andrew.
https://newfoodeconomy.org/factory-farm-bans-cafo-poll/
If this was my campaign, I'd have my people contact all these organizations with my views and ask to at least update their articles. I know Andrew called out the big media for ignoring him, but I don't give a shit about MSNBC because I don't watch it!
I'm an activist and I'm interested in the issues, not the mainstream news. And I THOUGHT that the Yang campaign was supposed to be a grass roots campaign.
I don't see it.
I have NO idea where Andrew Yang stands on food, the LAST Genocide, factory farming, etc. I've asked, I received no answer.
Nobody gives a shit about anything except my money.
And you ain't getting it!
Not for such a mediocre website and brainless idiots for supporters. I'm just going to have to tweet.
Sad
Found another email on Reddit: yangforpresidentHQ@protonmail.com
Subject: Fix the campaign website!
Hello,
Please read:
Can you tell me why you have such a shitty broken campaign website?
Thank you,
Christine Baker
As much as I appreciate Andrew's policies, the more I learn about his campaign, the scarier it gets. And so many of his supporters are just DUMB and MEAN. The exact opposite of Andrew.
Once I tweet this, it may hurt the cause for a LONG time. I can delete my tweet, but I can't delete the retweets and screenshots.
I just saw a bunch of videos of Trump stating that Obama would attack Iran to get re-elected in 2011 and that Obama would start a war against Iran in 2015. It was GREAT to see what a stupid moron Trump is.
Maybe Andrew Yang is just a great actor? He sure had me fooled and I have a really good BS detector. I thought he's sincere, competent, accomplished.
Everything I've seen tells me he's just like Trump, just a much better liar. Although I have a really hard time believing that I can be fooled like that. Maybe it's my Alzheimer's?
I've been so busy, didn't post my recent emails, replying to the fundraising emails.
Just got TWO more, so here we go:
Hello Yang2020,
"We’ll be honest: We missed the mark to get Andrew on the January debate stage -- not because of the strength of this campaign, but because of the rules set by the establishment"
STOP lying.
You're out because you run a shitty campaign with a SHITTY and BROKEN website!
I don't need another president who only cares about MONEY!

Posted as comment at https://twitter.com/AndrewYang 4 or 5 times:
For two weeks I've tried to get this incompetent campaign to fix the website.Andrew won't be on the debate because all he cares about is money INSTEAD of focusing on the policies!Yang2020.com doesn't even load the policies on FF.[This URL]
I got a reply from the email campaign:
Christine,
What is the issue with the website? If there is a problem, I can get the tech team on it.Humanity first,
Laura
Laura, I would consider that a MIRACLE!I've spent countless hours the last two weeks on Reddit, replying to your fundraising emails, posting on Facebook, messaging, tweeting and posting comments on Twitter ... I even made a screen recording so you can see it:
[this URL]The policy page scroll bar is NOT THERE for all who use the current FireFox, 72.0.0 and up.
Also, the design is really awful. I would have posted hundreds of links to the policies on social media in the political discussions if the site wasn't BROKEN. And THAT is what you have to do to win, focus on ISSUES.
Christine
Still no scrollbar at https://www.yang2020.com/policies/
And here is a FINE example of a well designed website:
I didn't have to scroll and click and search. Immediately saw the courses, found those cool animations I was looking for and super fast.
A very well organized and functional site.
I did something I've never done before. I clicked on their chat / messaging button and told them how much I appreciate their user friendly site.
FINALLY they fixed the scrollbar, but nothing else.
So this is the dismal policies page as of 1/14/20. Andrew Yang is NOT in the debate and I've now heard from several other disappointed (ex) supporters. Just like me, they hoped for a campaign focused on the POLICIES.
It's sad to see so much potential wasted.
I've had enough of politics for a while. This was a GIANT waste of my precious time. And after Andrew drops out, maybe he'll have time to discuss how to actually implement his policies and get the word out.
I would have posted literally HUNDREDS of links on social media if he had a functioning website. And even now that the scrollbar is fixed, I don't really feel like posting a link to his voting thing, can't remember the name and it would literally take me MINUTES to find it because it's such a shitty website -- without ANY regard for people with disabilities and supporters who actually CARE.
I do NOT want to support a candidate whose website I have to apologize for when posting a link.
BTW, where you see "our policies", that's NOT a link. MORONS.
Andrew Yang deserves so much better!
