Wondering why, when 2/3 of properties in Meadview, served (and I use the term loosely) by the LMRFD, yet pay nothing to support the District, cannot get annexed in even when an individual requests it?  You would think that would be a priority for our LMRFD Administration as well as the County.  There is a person who submitted a request to join the District in January and it still has not been approved.  It's bad enough that Meadview doesn't generate enough in tax revenue to support one full time firefighter/paramedic.  It is extremely negligent to not pursue in a timely manner every legitimate request for annexation.  Who is responsible for this delay?

That's a great question.

Regardless of the answer, it's one of many reasons not to join.  

I just took me 1.5 hours to convert to pdf, rename and upload the 2013-2015 minutes.  LMRFD hasn't been able to accomplish that in the at least 2 years I've been requesting minutes, agenda and docs to be posted on the website.  Thanks so much for sending the docs and if you have more minutes or agenda, please send them.

The more info we have, the better!
