Hard to believe that paramedics would refuse to assist poor people, but who, what and how to bill has been a hot topic at LMRFD.

Many discussions, but I really do NOT have a clue.  Many people refuse transports because they can't afford the $300 cab to get back home from the hospital.  And KRMC takes no pity, they'll discharge people in the middle of the night.  Which is why my friend Leo died.

So here's a petition I signed, am not big on petition signing, but what else can one do.  I hope the family sues these bastards into oblivion:
